The Château des Anglais at Bouziès

The towpath
From the bridge at Bouziès, opposite the Château des Anglais, to the foot of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, the towpath invites you to take an unusual walk. The limestone rock in the cliff face was dug out by hand in the 19th century to allow you to walk alongside the river. You can admire a bas-relief several dozen metres long, sculpted as a tribute to the river and its environment.
Enter the Padirac chasm
Padirac is a mythical chasm, renowned the world over, and an emblematic site in the Lot. At a depth of more than 100 metres, enjoy the unique experience of a boat trip on an underground river, which will lead you to discover sumptuous scenery sculpted by time. An incredible variety of concretions create a magical setting.
